Dear Val,
In my opinion, with the little information available, it is difficult for me to say exactly for sure if the house you intend to buy is good or not.
As you are buying it for an investment; it will be good if the house has good/excellent Shapes and Form.
And under Shapes and Form, usually the plot of land and its surroundings has to be surveyed first. After which, other Feng Shui concepts and theories should also be used to look at the interior of the home.
For investment, sound financial considerations should be made such as how well the property can be rented out; its rent value etc...
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
