I have no idea when our house was exactly built ( 1960 or 61?). Is it important to know it? If so, why?
How about the date when we moved here(1987)....or when our roof was changed(1990's).... is it important?
Our house is facing NE and the breadwinner is also NE. Without using the compass, can I follow the 8 house theory based on NE?
NE house is Earth element but our roof is slightly pointed (Fire or Wood Element?), how should I correlate one from the other?
And what is its significance on the 8 house theory and 5 elements of cure?
Our office is in the ground floor, left side of our split-level house (garage section converted into office by the previous owners). The office entrance door is in left wall side of the house. Should I consider the office a separate part of the house...which means another 8 house theory since the door no longer faces NE and work the cures from there?
Do wind chimes remove the negative chi only?

Excellent site. The best for beginners and for more advanced "amateurs". Hopefully, I will continue learning from it, and eventually become a premium member. Keep it up and prosper.... (I am learning that myself from my slow progress in I Ching and Fengshui).
